Temo Consulting is a Fiji-based practice of professional engineers. We design, document and commission the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and technology systems that buildings and infrastructure depend on, across five countries, since 2002.
A service suited exactly to the client’s requirement: a single discipline where that is all you need, a fully managed multi-discipline team where it is not.
Our work is not confined to design and documentation. We participate in the planning of areas and rooms so the functional relationships between architecture, services and maintenance satisfy the client’s environmental and operational needs. Accurate cost planning, project delivery and validating system performance before handover are part of our quality assurance control.
On large projects the availability of a full multi-discipline service returns economies in both time and cost. Every commission is personally overseen by the principal or a senior engineer.
About the practice →Engage one practice on its own, or the whole team under a single quality-assurance regime.
The services that make a building habitable and operable, designed, documented and commissioned together rather than in isolation.
Everything outside the building line: reticulation, treatment and the civil works that carry it, including construction supervision and contract administration.
Fire engineering and the compliance evidence that gets a building consented, assessed against local authority requirements and international standards.
The intelligence layer: communications backbone, security, and the automation that ties plant and services into one operable system.
Hotel and resort facilities form a significant portion of our activity, the sector where services engineering most directly decides guest experience and operating cost.
Involved from the earliest stage, where servicing strategy still has room to change the plan and the plant budget.
Room and area planning so the relationship between architecture, services and maintenance access actually works in operation.
Systems validated against design intent before the property opens, not after the first guest complaint.
Offices, education and government facilities, including services upgrades carried out in buildings that have to keep operating throughout.
Phasing and switching strategies that keep tenants in place while plant and distribution are replaced.
Fire reports and compliance statements prepared for local authority requirements and international standards.
Accurate services budgeting early, then budget control through delivery as part of our QA regime.
External services infrastructure: electrical HV/LV, hydraulics, communications and gas reticulation, with the civil design and site supervision to deliver it.
HV/LV distribution, water supply, drainage and communications designed as one coordinated network.
Supply, drainage and sewerage treatment plant design for sites without reliable municipal servicing.
Contract administration and observation on the ground, the part remote consultants cannot offer here.
Industrial process machinery projects, where the plant is the point and the building exists to serve it.
Plant selection, servicing and integration with the building systems around it.
Design, selection and systems integration so plant and services report to one control layer.
Specification, tendering and procurement support for long-lead plant into the islands.
No projects match that combination, but it is likely we have done the work. Ask us directly.
Plant location, switchboard protection and the recovery decisions that determine whether a property reopens in days or months.
Where local authority requirements and international standards diverge, and what that means for a regional developer’s documentation.
Why servicing strategy decided at masterplan stage moves a resort’s lifetime running cost more than any equipment choice later.
We understand and protect the client’s needs, and develop building services with realism, fit for purpose, and delivered as contracted.

Send us the brief, the drawings, or just the site. We will come back with the disciplines involved, the programme and an honest view of the cost.
